Battle of the Books team

Aynor High's Battle of the Books (BOB) team reads books on the BOB list each year. In March, students compete against other HCS high school teams. To join, students pick up a permission form in the library and get it signed by their parents. The BOB team meets every Thursday during 2nd lunch to practice for the competition in March. AHS's BOB team won 1st place in 23-24 and 2nd place in 24-25.

The BOB team also promotes reading in Aynor area schools by reading to and donating books to CD students at Christmas. The sponsors are Mrs. Joy Benton and Mrs. Kathy Richardson.
